Uruguay International Film Festival selection!
Trimmy has been selected for the Uruguay International Film Festival and will screen in Uruguay’s capital city Montevideo on the 15th and 22nd of March. Paula will attend the festival. See link for more details: http://www.cinemateca.org.uy/festivales.html

ANU “5 in 3 on 1” Documentary competition

• Finalist and third prize win

Made as part of the annual ANU competition where filmmakers have 3 weeks to produce a 5-minute documentary 1 topic: This year’s topic was “Self-portrait/personal story“.

Paula’s prize wining project entitled “Trimmy” told the intimate and brief story of her sister’s life as seen through Paula’s eyes.

The documentary has also screened on ABC Stateline and local Canberra network Channel Vision.

Trimmy was selected for the 2006 WIFT (Woman in Film and Television) Victorian Short Film showcase and screened at ACMI, Federation Square on the 1st of May 2006.

UPDATE JUNE 2006:

Trimmy has just been selected for the Chicks with Flicks” film festival in New York and will screen at the Pioneer Theatre on the 18th of July 2006.
